'Energy Rating for Photovoltaics: evaluating real-world Performance' on 22 November 2016

The Workshop will take place on 22 November 2016 at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL), UK.

'Energy Rating for Photovoltaics: evaluating real-world performance' is aimed at developers of photovoltaic modules and systems, test labs, energy consultants, the R&D community and academics, this free workshop introduces a new and improved framework for rating the performance of PV modules in real-world conditions. It overviews the concept of an ‘energy rating’, the need for a new approach and discusses how a combination of measurement and modelling can provide a fairer comparison between different PV technologies and more accurate yield predictions to benefit both manufacturers and customers

This one day event will feature presentations from the leading European research and metrology institutes and PV test labs and give opportunities for delegates to engage through panel discussions.

More details and registration can be found online here. Please note registrations are limited and on a first come, first served basis, and so early registration is advised.

This workshop is funded by the EMRP PhotoClass project, which receives funding from the EU.
